- Winter Birds Christmas Party
-
Let's celebrate! This year I wanted to do an elegant winter birds party. I designed the "Fulton" party theme with beautiful red and brown birds, against a blue winter flurry background.Party Invitation

We hosted a dessert party for our family, complete with gorgeous pastries. It provided an elegant, no-fuss party, as we just ordered, picked up, and then placed on the display table - so easy!

Party Colors: Gold, Silver, Red, Green, and Blue. I mixed elements of elegance and the rustic outdoors to create a beautiful winter birds party.
-
I used red cardinal birds, crystal trees, silver and gold little lit houses, owls, polar bears, and ornaments throughout to create the gorgeous and elegant aesthetic.
-
I placed galvanized silver trees on the table and added a gold bauble garland to place over the tops of the stars. This creates a 3-dimensional effect on the table, providing visual interest to your guests without being too intrusive on the table.
-
The menu: Gorgeous pastries from Bakery Lorraine® in San Antonio Texas!
-
I decorated the spaces with a few banners with beautiful winter birds throughout. The banners were finished with white white shimmer tulle, and metallic gold curling ribbon.
-
We served Opera Cake, with a beautiful hearts of love detailing on the top - so exquisite! I used antique rose gold plates and serving platters to achieve the vintage aesthetic - all in beautiful Rose Gold and white colors.
-
I made a little winter village with birds and animals as a beautiful backdrop to the dessert table. I used a white winter shear crystal tablecloth to simulate snow on the ground.
-
I purchased these amazing red birds from Pottery Barn®. They make great Christmas tree decorations, but can also be used in displays and decorative serving places.
-
The Irish Cream Coffee Bar is a great option for adults! I let the guests mix it themselves so they can have a non-alcoholic coffee if they desire. Always make sure to have spoons, cream, and sugar available so your guests can have their hot beverage just the way they like. Our family loves to have a Bailey's® coffee with whip cream on top!

I used various little lighted houses from Pottery Barn® to create an elegant backdrop to the dessert table.
-
Each guest had a lovely place card that they can take home at the end of the party.
-
I wanted to let the plates really stand out, so I didn't include a table cloth with this design. The rustic wood of the dining table looks great with the high class dinnerware, making it formal, yes relaxing tablescape.
-
I used a blue tablecloth for the dessert table, and placed a red felt table runner on top. I then added white, silver, and rustic serving plates throughout.
-
I love to bring in woodland elements to formal parties - it adds a touch of whimsy to an otherwise stuffy event. The winter bird cardinals also serve as a peaceful reminder of Love, and the white symbolizes purity and pays tribute to the winter season.
-
The hot chocolate bar is a great option for kids! marshmallows and whip cream are a must, so be sure to have them on hand to make your winter chocolate extra special.
-
This delicious "Winter Berry" Champagne is so easy! Just drop a raspberry into champagne, and you've instantly transformed the drink into "winter berry" - super easy, and looks great in the glass.
-
I love the mix of designs for the beverage cups. These amazing cups are great for hot or cold beverages and are elegant enough for formal parties.
-
For our family Christmas ornament exchange, so I wrapped those and placed them in our large handled bags, personalized with each guest's name.
