Tropical Christmas Party - Shop The Melania Collection
-
Party Invitation
-
I decorated the ceiling and walls with fun curly and fan decorations. I love using color in unexpected ways. These fun color tones, can even be used for Christmas, which can be a nice change from the traditional red and green!
-
I try to decorate our Christmas tree to coordinate with the colors in the party theme. I covered our tree in various vibrant pastel and white accents, complete with large glitter flowers and white doves.
-
I used 3 separate small pennant banners each with text "PEACE", "LOVE", and "HOPE" - The focus for this years party.
-
I used an aqua serving tray from Crate & Barrel® and little white cupcake stand from Pottery Barn®. I topped the centerpiece off with confetti cupcakes with pennant sticks, and a little flamingo Beanie Baby® for added whimsy.
-
These small pennant banners can be used for cakes, or simple decorative elements at your party. I placed the pennant banners in a blue Ball® mason jar, and used clear vase filler glass pebbles to hold them in place.
-
I used metallic silver tablecloths with bright pink table runners. I finished the look with white plates, and aqua blue serving tray centerpiece to bring all the colors.
-
I put candies and cookie decorations in treat cups and topped them with fun "Merry Christmas" pennant sticks - super easy and they look great on the table.
-
I decorated the spaces with a few banners throughout. The banners were finished with white white shimmer tulle, and soft pink curling ribbon.
-
I love to make small detailed touches to my party products. Even the pennant straws feature bright and striking details that make your event extra special.
-
The hot chocolate bar is a great option for kids! marshmallows and whip cream are a must, so be sure to have them on hand to make your winter cocoa bar extra special.
-
I purchased these gorgeous white birds from Pottery Barn®. They make great Christmas tree decorations, but can also be used in displays and decorative serving places.
-
I placed smaller accent banners throughout the house. These fun paper banners are a great way to decorate smaller spaces, and can be hung over door knobs, or up higher at the ends of larger banners.
-
These amazing treat cups work great for all sorts of things! I used them for candies for the table, to decorate cookies, but they can be used for any fun food item! They come personalized with your event text for a custom touch.
-
Party Favor cards make a great parting gift accessory. They can be placed in treat boxes, gift bags, or attached to a present with curling ribbon. These versatile party cards are an inexpensive way to add a personalized touch to your event.

Our Christmas Tree
-
Every year we let the kids help us decorate our tree. I love adding floral and woodland elements to our tree, while keeping the winter "Christmas" feel by bringing in traditional bauble and snowflake elements.
-
Everyone loves cupcakes! I used store bought cupcakes, which saves time, and they always taste so good. Simply add pennant sticks and you've got an instant and festive statement.
-
I used clear plastic cups for water/soda and paired them with shiny silver pennant straws.
-
Each guest had a lovely place card that they can take home at the end of the party.
-
I used blue food coloring to dye the sugar crystals, used to rim the champagne glasses. Add a raspberry, and you've got "Caribbean Berry Champagne" - so fun!
-
I used pink silverware and napkins from Party City® and used galvanized & white containers to bring in contrasting colors and textures.
-
I love unusual color combinations for holidays, so the fun pink, silver, and aqua color really felt special. I used beautiful winter graphics to make the aesthetic feel like a "Tropical Winter Christmas".
-
These amazing hot cocoa cups come with white lids, and are a great size for your guests.
-
We have a fun disco ball in our living room - left up after another party we hosted (see Disco Wild Animals Party Blog). I added simple curling ribbon to dress it up. The silver in the disco ball adds "bling" to this fun and festive theme.
-
Pink flamingos, palm trees, gold/silver accents, gorgeous Santa sleighs, aqua winter flurry snowflakes, and beautiful winter ice skates are just a few of the elements included in this fun party theme.
-
I added peacock birds to our tree to keep the jeweled tone effect and bring in an added touch of whimsy.
-
For the treat boxes, I filled them with various chocolates, lollipops, and other special personalized favors.
-
-
These double sided treat boxes are a great size for adding all sorts of fun goodies and trinkets.
