    Rainbow Pony Birthday Party!

  • Love the bright colors in this party theme! Our daughter Mila (Boogie Bear) wanted a Rainbow Dash Pony party theme for her 6th birthday. I designed a line of colorful party accessories with cute My Little Pony characters. Everyone had so much fun wearing their favorite rainbow colors and celebrating Mila's 6th birthday in bright and colorful style!

      Ribbon Hair Tie
  •
  • I designed a rainbow tutu and rainbow hair bow for Mila to wear at her birthday party. For the hair bow, I used colorful tulle and curling ribbon and tied it to a regular hair tie for an exciting custom hair bow. For the tutu, I used premium glitter tulle in a rainbow pattern and hand tied it over black elastic for a bright and colorful outfit. She wore black shorts underneath. She still wears her tutu at ballet class!

      Skittles Jar - Top
  •
  • For the adults, I designed a "Guess How Many" Jar. I used a large Mason jar and filled it with Skittles, counting them as I went along. I sealed up the jar and passed it around to my adult guests to guess how many Skittles were in the jar - closest answer wins the jar! I had people write down their answer at the dessert table and drop it in the fish bowl. After we cut the cake, we announced the winner of the Skittles jar, so much fun!

  • Rainbow Kaleidoscope Banner
  •
  • I designed an extra large rainbow party kaleidoscope banner using a Martha Stewart Crafts party crafting template. Each color is a 12" X 12" scrapbook paper cut and glued together for a rainbow kaleidoscope effect. I strung it together with tulle and curling ribbon. It grabbed the light so well, and really accentuated the back patio space well and can be appreciated from all sides!

    The Dessert Table
  •
  • I always have a dessert/snack table that is separate than the food/dinner buffet. This allows your guests to snack while they wait for dinner. We served buffet style hamburgers, hotdogs, mashed potatoes, and other savory side dishes. The dessert table is great for snacking before and after the buffet meal.
