Murder Mystery Halloween Party - Shop The Craven Collection
-
Who Done it? This year our daughter wanted a "mystery" party - so fun! I designed the "Craven" party theme with cool and spooky accents in orange, purple, silver, blue, and black colors.Party Invitation
-
Party Colors: Orange, Lime Green, Purple, Dark Turquoise, Black, and Silver. I mixed spooky forest elements with cool pumpkins, cauldrons, and eyeball martini drinks. Enter if you Dare!
-
Let's Play A Game! Murder, Madness, Mystery, and Mayhem! More fun than you can imagine!
-
Place cards are a great option for small and large parties. It's an inexpensive option, and looks great on the tabletop. You're guests will be impressed!
-
I placed a few cute spooky stuffed animals throughout the decorations. This helps keep it playful and fun for the kids, so they aren't too scared. I placed spiders and black crows from Gund® and cute Halloween Bears from Starbucks®.
-
The menu: Pizza, Red "Bloody" Punch, Cupcakes, and other creepy/crawly treats.
-
I picked up these cool drink holders from Pottery Barn®. I love how they show the color of the drink inside! They are made of glass though, so I also provided a paper cup option for the littler kiddos.
-
It's a game of CLUE! Who Done it? It was Mr. Green, in the Library, with the Wrench!
-
I used battery operated tea light for the table decorations, and used skeleton hand place card holders from Pottery Barn® for the name cards.
-
I placed several real pumpkins throughout the decorations to give a variety of textures and fun elements to look at.
-
The Dark Lord!
-
I purchased these amazing red birds from Pottery Barn®. They make great Christmas tree decorations, but can also be used in displays and decorative serving places.
-
I got this amazing candy holder from Pottery Barn® and filled with candy corn to add orange color to the dark table cloth colors.
I used a metallic silver tablecloth and finished with a deep purple table runner. I then layered the table with various decorations and finished them with fun battery tea lights. The little lights gave a fun "flickering" effect to the tables, bouncing light against all the fun decorations.

Spooky Decorations
-
I used various spooky decorations from Pottery Barn® to create a fun and not "too scary" party theme.
-
I used a simple black tablecloth for the food table, and used cool decorations on the beverage bar area to add interest to the space.
-
I used a cool skeleton beverage stand to hold our "Bloody Punch". I used our paper beverage cups and straws to finish the look. Drink if you Dare!
-
I used 4 designs for our cool Halloween beverage cups. I personalized them for our "Garza Murder Mystery Party" - so fun!
-
I love simple and clever costumes! I found a cute hat my daughter had, and created a quick little card to wear. I'm a "No Drama Llama"!
-
I used a cool faux leaf garland to layer the table, and add a feeling of Fall to the table. The orange color tones helped balance the darker colors of the tablecloth and decorations.
-
Every year we carve our own family pumpkin. This year we went with a simple spooky face, then lit with candles for added effect. This also guides the guests to your party, and lights the way.
-
I used a cool spider beverage holder as a prop for the potato chips. It added a cool layered effect to the table, making it so fun to decorate around.
-
I used store bought cupcakes to save time, and they looked great! I love the little decorations and "rings" placed on top.
-
Each place card was used as a take-home favor. The cards are detailed and show a lot of fun elements in them to make it extra special.
-
I used a black metal pirate treasure chest from Pottery Barn® for the trick-or-treat candy hand out. This large box is great for all sorts of parties, and is fun to open and close. Ahoy there Matey, we have some sweet pirate booty for you!
-
I filled the treat boxes with a variety of Halloween candy - so fun!
