Minion Birthday Party! -
Due To Copyright Restrictions Boogie Bear Invitations Will Not Sell Sell Copyrighted Material Such as Minions™ ® From Despicable Me ™ ®
Assemble the Minions! Our son Jackson loves the Despicable Me movies, so we wanted a Minion inspired theme for his 2nd birthday. I designed a line of fun party accessories with cute little minions. We had a fun time decorating in bright blue and yellow; the colors work so well together!
Jackson's Party Invitation
-
For Jack's Minion party, I designed several double sided party banners to hang throughout the party space. I added several blue and yellow streamer decorations from Party City to add additional color throughout the spaces.
-
I wanted to have a wild and fun entrance to greet our guests. A fun and colorful door banner is the perfect touch to welcome your family and friends with style!
-
I used double sided banners in spaces where the banner could be seen from both sides.
-
I used minion cupcake toppers to dress up the vanilla cream cupcakes. To save time, I bought the cupcakes from the local bakery in the bright blue and yellow colors. It was much cheaper than I anticipated, and the saved time and effort were well worth it!
-
I love that I can have simple beverages such as lemonade, then dress it up with a clever name - Dr. Nefario's Anti-Gravity Serum!!!
-
Candy!
-
I made several minion cups with silly eyes, then let our guests personalize their own "Minion Cup" for a fun party novelty. I purchased the yellow cups from Party City, and just used a Sharpie pen for guests to use when designing.
-
The Fart Gun was a big hit at the party, and everyone wanted a turn. This one caused so many laughs. Still does!!
-
Pinata Time!

I wanted to design lots of indoor party decorations, due to inclement weather. I designed several small banners to hang throughout the house. I brought in balloons and hung streamers throughout.
-
Cupcake Topper and Tent Card Decorations
-
I used cupcake toppers to dress up centerpieces and displays, such as display cups.

-
I designed matching appetizer cards and made them double sided. This is especially beneficial when you have a round or multi-view tablescapes.
-
For the Drink Table we had water, Anti-Gravity Serum (lemonade), Sodas in one cooler, and beer (adults only) in another.
-
I always have a dessert/snack table that is separate than the food/dinner buffet. This allows your guests to snack while they wait for dinner. We served buffet style hamburgers, hot dogs, and other savory side dishes. The dessert table is great for snacking before and after the buffet meal.

Place cards are a great way to provide a special seat for each guest. They also make a great take-home keepsake after the party!
-
Happy 2nd Birthday Jack!

|
-
I used fun "trash" and "recycle" signs to define the trash stations for our guests.
-
I used double sided party favor cards and attached them to bananas - a fond tribute to the beloved Minions. I wanted to have a healthy party favor, as the kids had candy to take home from the pinata.
