Lucky St. Patrick's Party
It's the luckiest time of the year! I went with layered green tones for a rich and festive table setting. Every year we host St. Patrick's day at our home for our immediate families. Our Irish heritage makes this a very special holiday for our family. Keep calm and party on!

This year I really wanted to layer shades of green. The dark green napkins and rings contrast nicely with the white plates, which go with just about anything! I added white gerber daisy napkin rings to add a touch of whimsy and to celebrate spring!

Appetizers: French Bread
Main Course: Mac N cheese & Tomato Soup
Dessert: Mint Chocolate Ice Cream! -
Each one of our family members had a personalized place card that they could take home. My Mom and Grandmother love to keep theirs, they say, "they're too pretty to throw away"!

This year, I wanted to layer the design with multiple green colors. I chose the "Lucky Holiday" Party invitation, perfect for my layering green theme. The elegant shamrocks add whimsy to the green gradient background.

The matching cards add a wonderful layering effect of your party theme and give great cohesiveness to the layered green theme.

I had a lot of fun decorating the coordinating items that match the Lucky Holiday invitation.

I purchased the place card holders at Crate & Barrel. They are so easy and versatile to use. I always use double sided place cards. They are a great conversation piece and are a wonderful parting favor after the party. My family love to save them and scrapbook them for the memories.

Another successful St. Paddy's Day family party! Stay tuned to see what next year's party blog will bring. Keep Calm & Party on!
