Independence Day Party!
-
We had a blast!Good food and great fun! Every year, we host a big 4th of July Party at our home. We usually have 50-75 family and friends to help us celebrate Independence Day in style. I recently added several new items to the 4th of July Party collection, and was eager to test them out for our recent party! Our Party Invitation - Laminated

The Garza 4th of July Door Banner
-
The door banner is great way to welcome your guests to your party. With bright and festive colors it is a great addition to your party theme.
-
I dressed up the outdoor planters with red, white, and blue flowers. I added patriotic flags to finish the look.
-
I used favor cards throughout the house to decorate, even the bathroom!
-
Party favor cards and appetizer cards are a great way to dress up your party. I used several appetizer cards for my dessert table. I used a combination of folded tent cards and flat cards on colorful alligator clips (purchased at Crate & Barrel).
-
The American Flag cake was a great success! I saw a picture of this cake on Pinterest and wanted to try it out. I baked 3 separate cakes (red, blue, and white), then cut and tiered them to create a flag design. I used cream cheese frosting in-between the layers and to cover the entire cake.
This year I baked my famous firework cupcakes. I made confetti cupcakes with cream cheese frosting. I then garnished each with Pop Rocks in red & blue for an explosive taste! These are a BIG hit with the kids.

I had a lot of fun decorating the coordinating items that match the" Don't Be A Dud" invitation!
-
Using a featured drink card is a great way to highlight a few festive drinks. These drink cards are perfect when you don't have a full bar, or have just a few liquors on hand. I laminated my double sided card, and I am glad I did! A bar can get wet, so having the card laminated does help a bit.
-
I love making mini corn dog muffins, and this year I shared my recipe with laminated recipe cards for friends to take home if they wished.
-
We feature a pinata at every party, and the kids eagerly anticipate this event!
-
A BIG Thank You to all that helped make our annual 4th of July party a great success! You are greatly loved and appreciated. Can't wait to do it again next year!

Party Favor Card - Front & Back Views
I wanted to do something easy for the party favors, so I chose Red Hots® & Hershey's® with Almonds. I tied them together with curling ribbon and attached a double sided party favor card. I love these personalized party favor cards! You can attach them to just about anything!
