Flip Flop Pool Party!
Flip flop over for a super fun party! Our daughter Mila (Boogie Bear) wanted a pool party theme for her 7th birthday. I designed a line of colorful party accessories with fun flip flops, beach balls, and sunglasses. Everyone had so much fun wearing splashing around and celebrating Mila's 7th birthday in style!

Welcome Banner
-
I wanted to have a colorful entrance to greet our guests. A fun and colorful door banner is the perfect touch to welcome your family and friends with style!
-
For Mila's flip flop party, I designed several double sided party banners to hang throughout the party space. I added several matching party decorations from Party City to add additional color throughout the spaces.
-
I tied the banners with bright pink and alternating yellow and blue curling ribbon for a fun and colorful touch. I love how well the colors go together!
-
I used two banner sizes, and placed the small banners in smaller more intimate spaces, and large banners to cover the large main rooms.

Place cards are a great way to provide a special seat for each guest. They also make a great take-home keepsake after the party!
-
I invested in a large supply of acrylic reusable plates in several colors. They are durable, and wash easy. It saves money over time, I can use different different color combinations, depending on the party theme!
-
This year I laminated the beverage cards, and I'm so glad I did! They always get wet, and the ink gets smeared on the card - having them laminated kept them intact and held up perfectly for the party!
-
I made paper pennant straws for the first time this year, and they turned out great! I personalized them with Mila's name and age 7 with fun flip flops throughout.
-
For the Drink Table we had water, Kool-Aid, pink lemonade, sodas in one cooler, and beer (adults only) in another. We also had a snow cone machine with a rainbow of color flavors!
-
We served buffet style hamburgers, hotdogs, mashed potatoes, and other savory side dishes. The dessert table is great for snacking before and after the buffet meal.

I used colorful "trash" and "recycle" signs to define the trash stations. I laminated them for more durability and to keep the design looking good!
I used fun scallop favor tags and attached them to little baggies filled with Starburst - so colorful!

Mia's Party Invitation
-
I always laminate my personal party invitations to keep them as mementos. This year I designed the "Aubrey" party theme with party colors magenta pink, yellow, and teal. I love having her photo on the invitation, as so many loved ones live far away, and cannot attend. They are still delighted to get an invitation, and keep them posted on their refrigerator as a memento!
-
I placed decorations both inside, and outside the house with banners and beach themed decorations throughout. I had a great time with the candy. It was so easy to just fill the bowl with candy and add tent appetizer cards. It's hard to go wrong with candy!
-
I designed several tent appetizer cards at the dessert table and paired them with fun candies, cookies, and sweet treats.
-
I used cupcake toppers to dress up centerpieces and displays, even in the bathroom!
-
I made vanilla cupcakes with cream cheese frosting and pink, yellow, and blue sprinkles - so fun!
-
I always have a dessert/snack table that is separate than the food/dinner buffet. This allows your guests to snack before the meal.
